Your personal trainer has always been involved in sports coaching.
His first job as a teenager was that of a beach lifeguard in Gibraltar, followed by teaching swimming to children in Cardiff, Wales during his four year university stay.
Between 1991-1994, he successfully passed his Sports and Human Movement Studies degree with a 2:1. This included being selected in a student exchange programme with California State University Long Beach (CSULB). It was there where Jon learnt more about personal training which would shape his future.
The following year he achieved the PGCE (PE) certificate in secondary P.E. teaching. He then moved to Birmingham (West Midlands) where he taught P.E. for seven years. Among his many responsibilities, he was a mentor to Birmingham University Students who were studying to become P.E. teachers and promoted fitness training to his students.
In 2002, Jon decided to move from P.E. teaching to personal training in Gibraltar, where he is a freelance trainer with his own well equipped private studio. You will definitely benefit from his passion and wealth of experience, which come across in his personal training sessions.
